Public Speaking and Debate

The Speech & Debate Program is a collaborative initiative led by Reverie Speech & Debate and Bright Youth—two student-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Designed for motivated middle schoolers, this program provides accessible, high-quality instruction in public speaking and competitive debate.

The program will prioritize individualized lesson plans through smaller classes and nationally-ranked instructors.

Students will gain foundational skills in public speaking, argumentation, and refutation. They will receive tailored feedback based on individual growth goals throughout the 10 sessions, while also being provided with exclusive practice materials to take home.

Note: Classes may be canceled due to conflicts and rescheduled later in the month.

Students do not need to bring anything to class, materials will be provided to them.
